I am a huge fan of Angie, aka Goldiestarling on Youtube. She is incredibly beautiful and talented and her makeup tutorials are amazing. If you have never seen or heard of her, you should definitely take a look at her Youtube Channel. Here is just a small sample of her awesomeness <3
A new horror/thriller series that I'm very interested in watching is Hemlock Grove. It's being produced for Netflix by Hostel director Eli Roth and is based on Brian McGreevey's novel of the same name. It is set to premiere on April 19th, 2013.
The plot: A young girl is brutally murdered and found near the former Godfrey steel mill. As rumors mount, two of the suspects in her killing - Peter Rumancek, a 17-year-old Gypsy trailer trash kid rumored to be a werewolf and Roman, the heir to the Godfrey estate - decide to find the killer themselves. The trailer looks pretty awesome and I'm hoping that the series will be as well. I'll post my review after I watch the first episode in April.
I think that 2013 is going to be another exciting year for movies. Here are just a few that I'm really excited about seeing, but I'm sure there will be more to come. They are in no particular order.
I didn't get a chance to watch much of the Grammy's tonight, but I did check out ET Canada's pre-Grammy show. There was a wide variety of styles and colours, but for me, there were only a few women that really stood out this year.
Rihanna
Rihanna is hands down my top pick for best dressed this year. Her bold, crimson Azzedine Alaïa gown was incredibly beautiful and it's sheer bodice gives you that little hint of sexiness. Paired with her new hair extensions, to die for Neil Lane jewels and bright red nails, Rihanna was on fire.
Katy Perry
I thought that Katy Perry made a bold statement in her sea foam coloured Gucci gown. I loved the colour, the embellishments and how it hugged all of her curves. Simply gorgeous!
Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland's Georges Chakra Couture dress was a little on the risque side, considering the Grammy's new dress code rules, but she definitely has the figure to pull it off. It's see through panels were strategically placed to not show too much, but just enough to make it another incredibly sexy dress.
Maria Menounos
I've seen a few people adding Maria's Gomez-Gracia dress to their worst dressed lists and I'm not sure why. I thought she looked gorgeous. I loved her hair and I think that the light yellow added a nice pop of colour to the red carpet. I guess the fact that it was different was what I really liked about it.
Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood wowed the crowd with her stunning Roberto Cavalli gown. I loved the intricate bodice. What was really incredible, was her Johnathon Arndt diamond necklace - worth $31 million dollars! I couldn't imagine showcasing something like that around my neck. I'd be so worried about damaging or losing the necklace that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the show.
